Smarter Data Communications with ERIS

ERIS is a cutting-edge development tool that supports the processing of job files as well as many other products including Epic, RightFax, GFI/FaxMaker, Epic web services, Lexmark, Fujitsu Scanners, and more. ERIS’ capabilities span from inbound routing and processing, support for email/SMTP, and eliminates the need for configuration. Completely scalable with flexible notifications and simplified configuration, ERIS serves as a complete replacement for your entire enterprise information management (EIM) system.

Further, ERIS ensures that all data communications are delivered securely to and from the etherFAX network. With the ability to process outbound jobs from file systems to deliver to the etherFAX network, with all outbound transactions being managed through the scheduler that provides the job status once completed. ERIS is also available as a standalone system or a docker containerized application, which allows ERIS to function quickly and reliably from one computing environment to another.

etherFAX vs The Competition

etherFAX has long been the industry-leading software for secure, compliant data communications. ERIS’ real-team network allows direct visibility into data transmission, allowing you to view job processes as they happen. Offering highly secure internet transport, ERIS contains multi-level encryption using elliptic curve cryptography for greater defense against security breaches. All of ERIS’ North American data centers are also PCI-level certified, and ERIS does not charge for certification. Moreover, ERIS continues to ensure the integrity of your data with contents being destroyed as they are delivered and only preserving call record details.

The competition, on the other hand, lacks many of the above functionalities and capabilities that ERIS provides. Using the first-in first-out (FIFO) method as opposed to TDM, complexity of the system is increased while overall efficiency is decreased. Further, competing technologies offer very limited visibility and lack of real-time notifications, with confirmations of job completion only being delivered after the fact. The overall lack of certified data centers, message level encryption, and a fax centric architecture renders the competition’s products less secure, and oftentimes these products will come with additional fees for certification and security.
