Lane Telecommunications and T38Fax Incorporated Joint Press Release

Lane Telecommunications and T38Fax Incorporated are pleased to announce that they have successfully completed interoperability testing of Lane’s Passport4000 fax system component with T38Fax’s Power-T.38 service.

Passport4000 is at the heart of the Lane Telecommunications service offering and is its core messaging system. It provides a central networked resource for sending and receiving messages of all kinds and is available in configurations to suit specific environments, such as Enterprise, Small Business, Cloud Solutions and Healthcare. Some of the largest Healthcare and Financial Services organisations in the USA, UK and Asia, rely on Passport4000 for its secure, reliable and cost-effective messaging requirements.

Passport4000 offers integrated fax and messaging services accessed over the internet.

The Dialogic SR140 SIP stack, included in its fax system component, supports T.38. But the challenge to offering dependable Fax over IP has been finding a reliable SIP trunk vendor. T38Fax’s SIP trunks were designed by fax industry experts to only offer T.38 Fax over IP call origination and termination. And its reliable faxing is backed up by unlimited premium support.

“Dialogic was our very first officially certified interop partner, and remains one of our most important partners to this day.”, said Darren Nickerson, President of T38Fax. “By including Dialogic’s industry-leading SR140 T.38 stack in their software and certifying Passport4000 with our Power-T.38 service, Lane Telecommunications has ensured their customers can experience predictable, reliable, and high-quality faxing.”

The Passport4000 platform passed T38Fax’s rigorous interop testing requirements and made it to their Interop Certified Device list. Find out more about Passport4000 at http://www.lanetelecom.com and Power-T.38 at https://www.t38fax.com/.

About T38Fax Incorporated

Founded in 2012 and based just outside of Philadelphia, PA, T38Fax Incorporated provides fax-optimized SIP trunks to business customers within the US and Canada. Its promise of ‘Simple, Reliable Fax Over IP’ is fulfilled via a combination of three key features:

  1. Consistent T.38: T38Fax sells you its own T.38 instead of its underlying carriers’ various flawed implementations. By controlling the T.38 stack it can make sure it’s predictable, feature-rich and trouble-free.
  2. ECM Error Correction: A facsimile is not guaranteed to be an exact copy without this vital feature of the fax protocol. Most carriers mistakenly turn off ECM. T38Fax offers ECM on all calls, and recommends all devices be configured to use it.
  3. Premium Fax Support: T38Fax offers unlimited free support from fax industry veterans. They use science, not superstition, when troubleshooting fax issues.
