Sending a Test Fax via Passport Client Applications
If you are using the Passport Client Applications, follow these steps:
- Click the Windows Start button.
- Select Passport 4000 and choose “Send Message”.
- Log in with your Passport Message Server credentials and click OK.
- In the Destination Field, type Fax 4445556666.
- Enter a subject in the subject line and a memo if needed.
- Click Browse to attach the document you want to fax.
- Click Send to transmit your test fax.
Checking Fax Status
To validate the status of your fax:
- Open Passport 4000 and click on Message Tracker.
- Log in and click the All button on the left side.
- Click Refresh to update the list.
- Your fax should appear with its current status.
This allows you to confirm that your test fax was sent successfully and helps ensure your system is functioning properly.
