Feature Announcement: Lane’s New Cover Sheets for SFTP

Lane’s new Cover Sheets feature for LaneSFTP streamlines the file-to-fax process, allowing for personalized cover sheets and more customization options.

This latest innovation allows you to prepend a custom cover sheet based on the filename you create using the specific naming convention – a capability that is invaluable for healthcare providers managing patient reports and communicating with EMRs and physicians.

When no cover sheet is desired, you can omit the cover sheet name from the filename (e.g., `fax_9735262988.pdf`), and LaneSFTP will send your fax without one, providing a seamless experience for EMR integrations. Users should note that for this to function correctly, the route must be set to ‘NCS’ and, if using etherFax, include the !VB and !VT labels.

For scenarios that call for a tailored solution, we can create a custom cover sheet fitting your exact specifications and link it to a specific requestor’s name, ensuring your communications are both professional and personalized. This feature is perfect for adapting to various requirements across multiple healthcare clinics and individual physicians.

Beyond customization, our  Lane SFTP interface allows frequent, automatic checks for new files. Set the SFTP driver to scan your server at five-minute intervals, ensuring timely delivery of essential documents.

This feature is highly compatible with platforms like Xifin and any systems requiring SFTP pickup or delivery. Whether you need custom cover sheets or prefer no cover sheets at all, LaneSFTP now accommodates your needs with greater efficiency and customization.
